Prayers for Divine Favour
It is God’s desire to favour His children. When divine favour is unleashed by God upon your life, He will bless you beyond your wildest dreams and people will stumble upon themselves to bestow favour upon you, simply because you have found favour with God.
Much as divine favour has been provided, you need to pray fervently in order to experience it.
God has given lots of promises to His children in the area of divine favour. These promises must be claimed through prayer. You need to set time apart for the prayer points in this section and you must continue praying them vigorously until favour begins to locate you from the North, South, East and West. Don’t live a life that is characterized by lack of favour.
Claim divine favour today and your story will change. Doors that were closed will be thrown wide open.
Confession:
Matthew 7:1-10
Judging Others
“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye. “Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.
Ask, and It Will Be Given
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent?
Praise Worship
I receive the goodness of the Lord, in the land of the living, in the name of Jesus.
Everything done against me to spoil my joy this year, be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, as Abraham received favour from you, let me also receive Your favour so that I can excel, in the name of Jesus.
Lord Jesus, deal bountifully with me this year, in the name of Jesus.
It does not matter, whether I deserve it or not, I receive unquantifiable favour from the Lord, in the name of Jesus.
Every blessing God has earmarked for me this year will not pass me by, in the name of Jesus.
My blessing will not be transferred to my neighbour, in the name of Jesus.
Father Lord, disgrace every, power, that is out to steal Your programme for my life, in the name of Jesus.
Every step I take this year shall lead to outstanding success, in the name of Jesus.
I shall prevail with man and with God, in the name of Jesus.
Spend quality time to bless the name of the Lord.
Prayer for the Start of Day
Prayer for the Start of Day
This is another day, O Lord. I know not what it will bring forth, but make me ready, Lord, for whatever it may be. If I am to stand up, help me to stand bravely. If I am to sit still, help me to sit quietly. If I am to lie low, help me to do it patiently. And if I am to do nothing, let me do it gallantly. Make these words more than words, and give me the Spirit of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer Brings Miracles
Prayer Brings Miracles
Next to the "Our Father Which Art in Heaven" prayer, this is one of the Best prayers
I think I have ever read.
PRAY THIS PRAYER OUT ALOUD, EVEN IF YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE IT!!! DO IT NOW!!!
IT WILL ONLY TAKE A MINUTE.
I started not to do this, but as I read it....
I understood God to say, 'You need a miracle tomorrow'
so here goes...Prov. 29:25
You never know When God is going to bless you!!
Good things happen when You least expect them to!!!!!!!!
"Dear Almighty Lord God Jesus Christ, I thank you for this day, for this is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.
I thank you for my being able to see, and to hear, and to speak, and to feel, and to taste of Your good creation this day and every day.
I'm blessed because you are such a loving and such
a forgiving God, and such an understanding and caring God.
You have done so much for me and yet you keep on blessing me.
Forgive me this day for everything I have ever done, or ever said or ever thought
That was not pleasing to you. I say I am so sorry.
I now repent and ask for your forgiveness.
Please keep me safe O God From all danger, hurt, and harm.
Help me to start this day and every day With a new attitude and plenty of gratitude.
Let me make the best of each and every day, To clear my mind so that I can hear from you.
Please broaden my mind so that I can accept all things according to God's Will. Let me not whine and whimper
Over things I have no control over, for all things are working together for my good and God's Glory.
And when I'm pushed beyond my limits, give me the best response, a response which says Alleluia, and
Praise the Lord, and Thanks be unto the Most High God Almighty, I know that when I can't
pray, You listen to the prayer of my heart.
Continue to use me to do your will.
Continue to bless me so that I may be A blessing to others.
Keep me strong so that I may help the weak...
Keep me uplifted so that I may have Words of encouragement for the discouraged.
I pray for those that are lost and can't find their way, that they come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, even through this Prayer I am now praying.
I pray for those that are misjudged
Misguided, misused, and misunderstood.
I pray for those who don't know you intimately.
I pray for those who will delete this prayer
without sharing the Love of God with others
I pray for those that don't believe.
But I thank You, that I do believe
That God changes people and God changes things.
I pray for all my sisters and brothers.
For each and every one of the family members
In their households. I pray for peace, love, and joy
in their homes; I pray that they are out of debt
And that all their financial needs are met, and they have more than enough to be a blessing to others.
I pray for every eye that reads and says this Prayer
That they come to know that there is no problem, no circumstance, no situation that is greater than God, for God is greater than all, God is greater in all, God is greater through all, and God is greater upon all.
For God, the Most High God Almighty of all the Universes is truly the Greatest of All.
I pray for all my enemies, and those who have used me and abused me, and have lifted up their hands and their tongue against me. I now forgive them for all they have done. In Jesus Name, all my enemies are now forgiven, and I pray God forgiveness upon all my enemies, for they do know what they are doing, for I am a Child of God.
So every battle that I have ever encountered in my life is now in God's Loving hands, for You, O God fights all my battles for me.
I pray that these words be believed, received and accepted
into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every tongue that confesses them
in name of Jesus Christ, I pray believing, receiving and accepting God's miracles in my life this
day and every day, for God's Divine favor is now my heritage, in Jesus Name. Amen and Amen! It is
done! O' Praise The Lord! Alleluia!
God Bless You!! ! ! !
Just repeat the phrase below and see how God moves!!
God I so love you and I need you. I confess that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, my Lord, my Savior, and my King, and I confess this day and every day that I am highly FAVORED by God and man.
Please come into my life, Lord Jesus Christ and change my heart now!
Let's take this Prayer around the World.
You will receive a miracle tomorrow.
Don't ignore this and God will bless you.
Know that you are already blessed
By the person who sent this to you.
You never know how many people you will bring to the foot of the Cross because of you sending this e-mail out to as many people as possible, and God will say to you 'Well Done'
_______________________________
CONCENTRATE ON THIS:
"To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did. When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you. Something good will happen to you today, something that you have been waiting for to hear. Please repeat these 30 Words, " Almighty Jesus Christ, my Everlasting Father, walk through my house and take away all my worries and illnesses, and please watch over and heal my family in Jesus name, Amen". His prayer is so powerful. Pass this to other people. A blessing is coming to you in form of a new job, a house, marriage or financial blessings. Do not break or ask questions. This is a test. Does God come first in your life? If so, stop what you’re doing & send it to other people right now......Lets take this Prayer around the world.....And watch what God does for you.
Don't stand before God empty handed. Send this out to as many people as possible now, and let this be your ministry unto God who Brings Miracles in your life today and everyday.

Prayer From a Parent’s Heart
Praying ParentAs I sit down to write this article I am reminded of the awesome honour of being a parent. God has granted me the privilege of raising three of His special little ones, but with the privilege comes great responsibility and a lot of hard work. Perhaps more than any other area of life, parenting brings with it the capacity both for boundless joy and tremendous heartache. What can we do as parents to succeed at the task God has given us? Pray, Pray, Pray!
Parenting has not been an easy journey for me. I have had to face my own inadequacy and rely on God’s plan for my life and my children. Part of that process was God teaching me how to pray for my children. There is no exact science for this, but the Lord put it on my heart to write a prayer for each of my children.
Why write a prayer? I had so many things that I wanted to remember to pray for each of my children, and writing it out really helped me to be concise. The written prayers reflect each child’s uniqueness, while also covering the basics in such a way that I don’t feel like I’m forgetting any important issues. I’d encourage you to give it a try.
Begin with a decision to take the time to pray for your children. This sounds simple, but it takes follow-through and commitment. When it comes to prayer, there is no substitute for time, and writing a well-crafted prayer for each child takes extra effort. But you will find that it’s well worth it.
Next, sit down and brainstorm a list of all the things you want to pray for. What is important to you as you raise your children in this difficult culture we live in? Try to catch a glimpse of the future: what kind of adults do you want your kids to become? Here are a few items on my prayer list:
Purity: I pray for purity both for my kids and for their future spouses. Their spouses are out there somewhere, growing up as children right now, and what happens in their lives will greatly affect the life of my children down the road.
Relationships: Above all, I pray that my kids will develop strong relationships with the Lord. I also pray for healthy relationships with their siblings, with friends, and with my husband and I as their parents.
Protection: The world is a dangerous place in many ways. I pray for physical, spiritual and emotional protection for each child.
Personal weaknesses: Every child has their own struggles, whether it’s lying, angry outbursts, disrespect, or any number of other issues. I pray that God will shape their character and turn their weaknesses to strengths.
Thanks: Each child also has unique strengths that are God’s gift to our family. For some it’s charm, for others leadership ability or a sense of humour. I thank God for these special qualities and ask Him to continue to develop these characteristics in our children.
After brainstorming your list, pray and ask the Holy Spirit to lead you in writing the prayer. Then it’s finally time to sit down and start writing! In addition to working from the list, I try to incorporate scripture passages that are applicable to the situation. Because the Bible is God’s perfect Word, I believe it is very powerful in prayer.
Here is an example of what I wrote as part of a prayer regarding purity:
For a daughter:
“Lord, we ask for purity in her life and that of her husband. We ask for protection over their innocence and purity; protect them from others and wrong choices, call them to a higher standard. We ask for wisdom and discernment in teaching and preparing her for a life of purity and modesty. I also ask that you grant her husband’s parents wisdom as they raise a man of integrity.”
For a son:
“Lord, we pray against pornography and lust and its evil effects on his life both as a child and as an adult. Give us wisdom in teaching him to respect girls and women. Put a calling of purity upon his life that he will never use, abuse, or take advantage of girls or women. We ask for wisdom and discernment in teaching and preparing him for a life of purity.”
I pray blessing and biblical qualities for my children. The Bible has a lot to say about how we speak and the power of the tongue to do damage, but also to bring healing. “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit” (Proverbs 18:21).
“Father we thank You for (insert your daughter’s name here), You have heaped us with bounty and we praise You for entrusting us with her. She is fearfully and wonderfully made. You chose her for us and we thank You for the gift she is to us. We bless her and ask that You fill her with “Whatever things are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, of good report, having virtue, or anything praiseworthy, let her think on these things.””
I pray for wisdom as a parent regarding specific issues for this child. The Bible says whoever lacks wisdom should ask…so I ask a lot! “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him” (James 1:5).
“Lord, grant us wisdom. We ask that you would impress upon him that lying is wrong. Help us to train him to be a man of integrity and honesty starting now. We ask that you would raise him up to be an upright man; one who is pro-active for what is right. May he not be passive, but aggressive for truth and what is honourable.”
Relationships will be a lifelong pursuit for your children: relationships with family, friends and especially with the Lord. My dad prayed faithfully for a good Christian friend for me in high school. I am so thankful for those prayers, and I believe God has answered them many times over in my life. I thank God for many wonderful friends over the years.
“We ask Father that you would fill her life with good relationships, first with you Lord. Help her to seek after Godly things. We ask your blessing on our relationship with her, help us to express to her and for her to feel unconditional love; may she rise up and call us blessed. We ask for good friends for her; that she may feel accepted and influenced by good kids. Keep her path straight. We ask your blessing on her life by causing Godly people to positively influence her life at the crossroads she will face. Go before her and prepare the way.”

Being Thankful

Thank you for the wonderful sounds of nature, from the cool breeze brushing through the trees to the birds singing melodies. You are a wonderful God, full of grace and mercy. I praise you for allowing me another day to spend with my family. I love you Father! Amen.

and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.”
Song of Solomon 2:12
Strength
Dear Lord, I pray that you would give me strength to be strong for You in the world today. Lord, you know the struggles that I will face today. Be with me as I go through them. Carry me if I am too weak to move. If I stumble in them, forgive me Father. When I succeed in them, I will praise You! You are worthy of all praise and honor. Amen.

but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

The morning is the perfect time to pray
The morning is the perfect time to pray
Dear Gracious Father, I praise You for my family. Thank you for my spouse. Even in his/her weaknesses, I love him/her unconditionally. Thank you for my children. Every time I hear the pitter-patter of their feet across the house I smile. Joy overwhelms me Father! Be with my family today as they go their separate ways. Bring us all back home safely to each other I pray. Amen.
“Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house;
your children will be like olive shoots around your table.”
Psalm 128:3
Career
Dear God, I thank you for my job. You have provided me with a steady income and I thank you. I pray that you watch over me today at work and I pray that there are no accidents, so that everyone can go back to their homes. I thank you that my job has provided an income to support me and my family. I thank you for the provisions that you have given to me, my house, car and food. I pray for safe travels to and from work and I pray that you will use me as you see fit today for Your Glory. Amen.
“Commit your work to the Lord,
and your plans will be established.”
Proverbs 16:3
Men and Women Overseas
Dear Merciful Father, I pray that you would keep your hand on our men and women defending our country so that we can be free. Be with our soldiers as they go onto their assignments. Bring them back to base safely. I praise you for our brave men and women! I thank you for our brave men and women! I also pray that you give them the skills that they need in every moment, so that they can come back home safely to their families.

Dear Lord, I pray today that I will yield my spirit completely to You, that You may use me as You please. I pray that You will provide me opportunities to show people how much You mean to me. Give me discretion to know what to say and how to say it. Make me bold enough, that I may proclaim salvation cheerfully and joyfully. I pray that the seeds You allow me to plant will grow and mature. I pray that You, Father, will water the seeds that You allow me to plant today. I am forever grateful for the cross; may I proclaim it in a contagious way today. Amen.
“Do not be anxious about how you should defend yourself
or what you should say,
for the Holy Spirit will teach you
in that very hour what you ought to say.”
Luke 12:11b-12
Contentment
Dear Glorious Father, I pray that I will stay focused on you today. I pray that You will constantly remind me to be content in all of my circumstances. I pray that You will fill me up that I may be joyful all day, even if stress creeps in. I know that through my contentment, You will be glorified. I want to honor You, Father, in all that I do. I praise Your Holy Name! Amen
“Not that I am speaking of being in need,
for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.
I know how to be brought low,
and I know how to abound.
In any and every circumstance,
I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger,
abundance and need.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Philippians 4:11-13
Conclusion
You can have such wonderful encounters with God when you approach His throne in the morning. I encourage you to start praying when you wake up, if you aren’t already doing so. When you wake with God you take Him with you too. God bless you as you live a life worthy of the calling.

DAILY VICTORY PRAYER by Arthur Burk
I pray that my spirit, soul and body will line up now underneath the Holy Spirit in Jesus'
Name. The truth is that I am made in God's image (Genesis 1:26). I have been made
from God's very nature. Therefore I am a composite of His qualities, His truth, His light and
His image. God put everything in my spirit from His character that I need to heal from every
bruise, every point of pain and every lie in Jesus name. (2Peter 1:3) Father, let Your healing
power flow into those places now in Jesus' name for You are Jehovah Rophe, the LORD who
heals me. (Exodus 15:26)
Before the foundation of the world, God You predestined me to be conformed into Your image
(Romans 8:29) and You put everything in my spirit that I would need to deal with every
situation I would face in my lifetime. (2Peter 1:3) LORD, unpackage all the resources from
Your character that You put in my spirit and release them into my life today. May I be led by
the Holy Spirit and face this day with Your abilities instead of my soul taking care of things. As
You release those things into my life may I be a victor and an overcomer in every circumstance
in Jesus' name.
SPIRITUAL WARFARE PRAYER
SPIRITUAL WARFARE PRAYER
Satan, take note and listen well. We are the Church of the Living God, we are bought with the
Blood, charged with Power, married to Jesus, indwelled with His Spirit, destined for victory, and
immune to destruction. We’re part of the company of the committed, the Crown of the
Covenant, the congregation of the courageous, we are a fellowship of the faithful, a battalion
of believers, a regiment of the redeemed, a division of the devoted, an army of the approved,
a team of the triumphant, a platoon of the powerful. Satan, you will not conquer me. For I am
Blood washed, daily delivered, strongly sanctified, spirit soaked, in-Word, and indwelled. You
are wasting your energy on me. My faith is set. My victory is assured. I am linked with a
sovereign and eternal power. You are a deceiver, but you will not deceive me. You are a
roaring lion, but I am not devourable. You are extremely subtle, but I’m on to your ways. You
parade as an angel of light, but I walk in a stronger light. Your days of deception are over with
me. I won’t be detoured, derailed, distracted, distorted, discouraged, or disillusioned by your
schemes. I’m off limits to you now. My doors are closed and locked and I’ve thrown away the
keys. You won’t walk in, crawl in, slither in, sneak in, pry in, or barge into my life. I have a
permanent and precious Friend, who lives inside of me, and He will not share this temple with
anyone else, especially you. His Name is Jesus. He and I know that your time’s almost up.
You may lie, lure, linger, lurch, and laugh, but you won’t get in. Your days are numbered; your
designs are dwindling; your evil is eroding; your devilishness is dissolving; your progress is
poisoned; your success has been subverted; so get off my property; get off my porch. Get out
of my sight. For He who is in me, is greater than he who is in the world. Leave my family
alone; leave my children alone; and leave my church alone. God is on my side. I am on God’s
side. I have the same power that delivered Jesus from temptation and sin. I have the same
power that raised Him from the grave. I have been promised the victory, and I have claimed
that victory, and you can summon all your hosts, but you will lose the battle! We are the
church of the Living God! Blood-washed, Spirit-filled, battle-scarred, unrelenting and
indestructible. And in the blessed words of Jesus Christ, the gates of hell will not prevail
against us. In Jesus Name. In Jesus Name. Are you listening? In Jesus Name. Amen and
Amen!
Use this prayer for God's guidance:
Use this prayer for God's guidance:
God, this world’s problems are so complicated
that I cannot make my way without Your guidance.
Quicken my mind and deepen my understanding.
Help me hear Your voice and heed your advice.
Keep me walking along the path behind you.
In Jesus Name, Amen.

Obstacles to Prayer
Obstacles to Prayer
Even though we all long for the kingdom of God – f or unity with
God and for the total dominion of the Holy Spirit over all other spirits
– we know that we are obstacles to this kingdom. Our own nature is always
interfering when God tries to reveal himself. Our personalities get in the
way, because in each of us there are countless thoughts, feelings, and traits of
character that are not completely centered on the kingdom of God or compatible
with the spirit of Jesus. Every prayer is therefore inevitably burdened
with personal mistakes and desires.
In addition to our own failings, we are often besieged by dark clouds of
worry. When this happens we need to ask for the freshening wind of the Holy
Spirit so that, surrounded by God’s pure, clear atmosphere, we can pray tirelessly
to God, asking him to banish our anxiety and prove that he is the ruler
over life and death. By praying we can resist temptation (Matt. 26:41).
Even more dangerous than the most nightmarish anxiety is the force that
drives away the Spirit—sin. Sin fights against life and leads to death through
the demonic darkness of unrighteousness, impurity, covetousness, self-seeking,
self-will, lying and deception.
These demonic forces will yield only to prayer offered in a spirit of self-denying
love. Sin and the prayer of faith exclude each other. We cannot meet God
unless we are free from hate, anger, quarreling, and all wrong done to others (1
Tim.2:8). If we are serious about praying we must be cleansed of all sin. God
dwells only in hearts that have been completely purified. We cannot speak to
God, who is holy, unless we have prayed for the forgiveness of our sins with a
converted and changed heart and truly believe in and live in this forgiveness.
“Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness”
(2 Tim. 2:19). That is the clear stamp by which God can recognize his
own. If we refuse to listen to God’s demands for righteousness, our prayer is

an abomination. It is loathsome to God. As long as we continue to shed the
blood of others, none of our prayers will be heard. With all the strength and
determination we can muster, we must reject evil and strive to do only what
is good. We must try to show justice and love to all people, especially to the
poor and deserted, the widows and orphans. We must be ready to fulfill the
will of God with the willing obedience of faith. Only then will God take away
our sins and accept our prayers.
Unless we have utterly surrendered ourselves to God and left behind all
selfishness, our prayer for God’s gifts will have no effect ( James 4:2-3). Everything,
absolutely everything, that stifles our love for him must be burned
or melted away.
The sin that separates us from God most is the cold arrogance of a selfcentered,
individualistic life. The key to prayer is to give up all the privileges,
rights, and demands of self-esteem, all self-justification and all clinging to the
good things we have accomplished through our own virtue. Self-importance
is the opposite of love and goodness and is the deepest root of sin. Conversely,
the root of community with God and love to others is the awareness that we
receive undeserved grace and good gifts from God. If we are full of ourselves,
thinking we are better than others, our prayer will never reach God. But if we
are aware of our guilt and recognize that we are worse than others, and ask
God for his mercy, he accepts our prayers (Luke 18:9-14).
Our prayers are blocked whenever our hearts remain unmoved. To experience
a fundamental change of heart and direction and to enter a new
life in God, we must first feel profound remorse for the heartless evil of our
self-governed lives. A person who sees his guilt as it really is, learns through
God’s judgment to detest sin and to turn away from it forever. He spends
the rest of his life in awe before God, for now he knows that the Father to
whom he prays is no respecter of persons but judges each according to his
actions, and that the purpose of his judgment is to destroy what is evil in us.
When we have been overpowered by God in this way, we will keep watch in
every area of our lives and in all our relationships, particularly in marriage
(1 Cor.7:5). We will not let pleasures, especially those of possession and sensuality,
distract us from God and hinder our prayers. Prayer demands clearheaded
moderation.
Even though we all long for the kingdom of God – f or unity with
God and for the total dominion of the Holy Spirit over all other spirits

interfering when God tries to reveal himself. Our personalities get in the

an abomination.
Prayer demands clearheaded
moderation.

What makes a prayer more powerful than other? What is the secret of an answered prayer? How can we use it to bring a miracle in our life or the lives of the people around us? How can we make the best of this amazing tool God has given us? The way from ordinary to extraordinary is within our reach. There are just a few simple steps to follow. Learning to trust God is one of the most important. Having the courage to pray for a miracle is another.
And we could go on... Having the spirit and the passion of the first Christians. Being honest about everything, including our doubts, but keeping a positive outlook on all (“I do believe, help me overcome my unbelief”). Experiencing God. Becoming receptive to his voice. Persevering. Trying again and again. Having patience.
Here is a list of what I call “the Seven P’s in Prayer”. Or, in other words, the attributes of a prayer that can move mountains...
PATIENT
Patience actually refers to the period after praying. Wait patiently, even if you can’t see immediate results. Rest assured that God will answer you, in one way or another. When I was in college, after each exam I had to wait for the results. Waiting wasn’t easy but I knew in my heart I had done my bit. I had tried my hardest and now it was time to lay back and wait. Do what depends on you and God will do what depends on Him.
PERSEVERENT
Keep praying. Don’t give up. Persevere in your act of communication with God. When you feel like giving up, ask God for help to go on. When you feel you can’t pray, ask him to help you with that too. Whatever your feelings are, talk to God about them. Whatever you need, ask for it. Patience and perseverance are very important in any human activity. Without them, you will never cross that edge to achieving the best performances.
PERSONAL
Be personal. Use your own words. Describe how you feel in an honest and straightforward way. Remember God knows your heart anyway, so there is no need to hide anything. Let the words flow from inside and when they don’t come, remember God can see beyond words. The strength of a prayer is not measured in what you say, but in how you say it and in how you feel. Sometimes the silence is the most powerful prayer. I’ve met someone who was often lost for words when praying but her emotion was real. She told me that there were times when all she could say was “You know, my Lord. You know, my Lord.” There was no need for anything else, because, indeed, the Lord knew what she meant and what her prayer was all about.
POWERFUL
A powerful prayer can move mountains. But what makes a powerful prayer? When Jesus prayed, He prayed with authority and taught his disciples to do the same. He said: pray as if you’ve already received what you are praying for. What exactly did he mean? How can we gain that confidence? How did Jesus gain it? Through a close relationship with the Father. Through experience. The first time when we ask for something, we are reluctant because we don’t know whether we are going to get it or not. But as we learn how God works, as we learn to distinguish His voice among the confusing whispers of this world, we also learn to rely on Him. We learn to trust Him. We learn to love Him. That is what it’s all about. Faith, trust, love. We are not talking to a stranger anymore. We’re talking to our friend, to the One who knows everything about us, who loves us for who we are and wants us to have the best, here and in Eternity.
PASSIONATE
Passion is putting your heart and soul into something. You can’t be cold-hearted in prayer. It is the heat that rises up to the throne of God, it is the flame that pierces the sky and makes its way to the heart of the Father. God loves passion. As a Creator and an artist, He knows that nothing great is achieved without passion. Sometimes passion involves pain and tears, making yourself vulnerable, becoming exposed, giving everything. But it’s a risk that is worth taking. And in relationship with God, it might prove not to be a risk at all.
PROFOUND
‘Profound’ is a synonym for ‘deep’. A mountain-moving prayer has to be as deep as deep can be. Now ‘deep’ can be understood in several ways. A profound prayer can be a prayer reflecting your most hidden inner feelings; a prayer that goes much beyond the surface, into places you normally don’t reveal to anybody. A profound prayer can also refer to a prayer that plunges deeply into the causes and roots of exterior things and circumstances. Both these aspects are very important. When you ask for a miracle, you already go into ‘profound’ territory. Unknowingly, you step into a realm where faith stands face to face with physics, medicine, philosophy, history, psychology, and it has to prove stronger than any of them. It is quite a challenge! But as it has been proved many times, it can stand its ground and pass the test.
POSITIVE
We don’t know the complex mechanisms of this universe and how it all works. But we do know there is a balance between good and evil, between positive and negative. The very laws of Chemistry and Physics prove it. God doesn’t ask us to understand. But He does want us to stick to the positive side. The most minor of our thoughts can alter the balance of the universe. We’ll never know how much good we’ve brought into the world by one single positive thought, word or action. But we do know praying is one of those things that can mysteriously alter this balance. It is, in a way, like throwing stones into a river. Each time we struggle to throw further and we can watch the stone as it goes but only up to a certain point. We’ll never know how far and how deep it went beyond the surface.

Fighting Temptation – The Secret of Success is Spiritual!
Fighting temptation focuses on the cravings and desires of the flesh versus doing what is right. No one is above temptation or the potential to sin (1 John 1:8). When fighting temptation, society’s solutions revolve around personal stamina and will-power. However as worthwhile as this may seem, the chances of success are minimal, due to the focus being on natural ability. As Scripture clearly tells us, the battle is not natural-but spiritual. Ephesians 6:12-13 says, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand”
As an example to us, Jesus used the weapon of God’s Word in resisting temptations (Matthew 4). Since He is the only human who has ever been tempted, yet did not sin, His example is a good one to follow! God knows how to provide a way to both get through temptation, and overcome temptation. Psalm 34:17 says, “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.”
When we choose to rely on our own strength in defeating temptation, independent of God, God looks at this as pride (James 4:6). He has a plan of deliverance, a way of escape which is found primarily through relationship with Him and experiencing His loving hand of correction (Hebrews 12).
When we come to God for salvation, He gives us a new nature. The old one – full of deceit and the desire to please only ourselves – is gone. 2 Corinthians 5:17 reminds us, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” What begins to transpire at this point is a literal transformation. As we start to read the Bible and get to know who God is, our way of thinking is gradually changed. This is a renewing that changes the moral fiber and character of a person. New traits and disciplines are learned and integrated, replacing the old characteristics. Through a relationship with God, we become likeminded with Christ and grow in the knowledge and wisdom of the Lord.
Temptation always involves choice – do we obey God or give in to our own desires? Yet climbing out of the pit of temptation is rarely simple, as anyone who has been there knows. The good news is that with God’s help, we can end the cycle. There may be pain and anguish in your heart and mind when declining temptations of the flesh, but overcoming temptation is treasure for the soul.
How the Battle is Played Out
Fighting temptation can feel like struggling for breath. It’s everywhere you turn, like a boxer wanting to pummel his opponent. Victory involves God’s Word, prayer, confession, and avoiding situations where temptation is likely to occur. God knows who we are. After all, in the person of Jesus, He has been tempted as we have. He knows what we need to do in order to defeat sin. Whatever your area of greatest temptation is, ask God to help you recognize and stay away from compromising situations. Use God’s Word to change harmful thought patterns. We have this good news from the Apostle Paul, “We are human, but we don’t wage war with human plans and methods. We use God’s mighty weapons, not mere worldly weapons, to knock down the Devil’s strongholds. With these weapons we break down every proud argument that keeps people from knowing God. With these weapons we conquer their rebellious ideas, and we teach them to obey Christ” 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (NLT).
Now take charge of that Goliath in your life and Battle it knowing that Christ has Overcome for you Already.

How God Measures Success
What is success ? Most people define success in terms of achieving goals, acquiring wealth, and having prestige, favor, status, and power. "Successful" people enjoy the "good life" - being financially secure, emotionally secure, being surrounded by admirers, and enjoying the fruits of their labor. Their example is emulated and their accomplishments are noticed. Most people's definitions of success only deal with the "here and now" of this life. Even in many churches today the definition of success is in terms of numbers, size, dollars and prestige.
But success is measured and defined differently by God. God's measure of success involves our obedience and faithfulness to Him, regardless of opposition and personal cost. His measure of success is whether or not we are being loyal to Him in our personal relationship with Him and in our life, and whether we are accomplishing His goals & purposes for our life. Some examples in the Bible:
Jeremiah was an absolute failure when judged by people's definition of success. For 40 years he served as God's spokesman, but when he spoke no one listened and responded. He was rejected by his neighbors, his family, the priests and prophets, friends, his audiences, and the kings. He was poor and underwent severe deprivation to deliver God's messages. He was thrown into prison and into a cistern. But in God's eyes he was a success. He faithfully and courageously proclaimed God's word and His messages, and he was obedient to his calling.
Jesus was also a failure, if you measure his life here on earth by people's measure of success. He had little in material possessions, and did not even own a home. He was rejected by most people, and was even hated by some. The religious leaders of the time despised him. Even his friends and those closest to him deserted him. He was accused and found guilty of things he did not do. He was beaten, spit on, cursed, mocked, and he suffered terribly and died the most horrible kind of death known to man at that time, death on the cross. Measure him by the way most of us measure success, and he was a failure. But in God's eyes, the redemption and salvation of all of mankind was accomplished through His son Jesus. By God's grace and great love for you and I, He sent Jesus to pay for our sins, and now the gift of a restored personal relationship with God and eternal life can be ours - all because of Jesus Christ.

Healing Prayer
Jehovah Rapha - The Lord That Heals Me!
I come before you and praise you this day and every day, because I am fearfully and wonderfully made, Lord. It was You that carefully designed every system, organ and gland in my body, and gave each one their tasks. I ask that you remind each one of the task it is given, and help them all to perform them perfectly.
Father God, you have said that I have the keys to the kingdom of heaven, and that whatever I bind on earth is bound and whatever I loose on earth is loosed! So, with that power, this day, in the mighty name of Jesus, I declare that my body is Your temple and I choose to glorify You with it. I bind any sickness or disease that has been trying to attack my body. I command it to flee in the name of Jesus so that I can present a healthy body to my Lord as a living sacrifice unto Him.
Lord, you have said that, through Jesus Christ, I am redeemed from the curse of the law. So, I receive that redemption right now in Jesus name. No weapon of sickness or disease formed against me shall prosper any longer!
In Your Word, you have promised that You will restore me to health and heal my wounds. Because I serve You, You said You would bless my food and take sickness away from me. Because I listen closely to every Word that You speak, and I keep them in my heart, You promised that they would be life and health to my whole body.
I choose to believe those promises Father. Help me to believe them more than I believe the doctors that I visit or the symptoms I feel. Help me to stand on Your holy Word today and everyday.
Right now, today, I confess that Jesus Himself bore my pains and carried my sicknesses. He was pierced for my transgressions and crushed for my iniquities. The punishment for my well-being fell on Him, and by His stripes I am healed and made whole!
Anything that was out of balance in my body, through Jesus' sacrifice, is now put back into balance. Anything trying to work death in my body is itself withering and dying, because You Father have promised that I will live and not die!
Thank You, Father, that my light breaks forth as the morning and that my health springs forth speedily!

Success in interviewers, appointment, promotions, examination and employments.
DEUT. 28:13
Success in interviewers, appointment, promotions, examination and employments.
When you want to excel and be favoured above others
When you want God to take the glory in your career
It is part of God’s own agenda, for you as His child that you should tower above your contemporaries no matter how bleak the situation is.
Daniel 6:3: “then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him and the king though to set him over the whole realm.”
To be the head means to be number one; to be the best or to be better than others. It also means to be of very high quality or to be unusually good.
What was it in the life of Daniel, a Jewish captive that made the Babylonian king set him over the whole realm? What was in his life that enables him to effectively serve two Babylonian kings and two Medo Persian kings?
In each government, Daniel was at the head. The Bible says that there was an excellent spirt that made him to stand out.
As you pray theses prayer points in faith, the Lord will deposit in your life an excellent spirit, that will catapult you to the position of the head.
CONFESSIONS
1 Sam. 17: 45-46: then said David to the philistine, thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the god of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied: This day will Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; an I will give the carcases of the host of the philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
1 kings 18:36-37: and it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may not know that thou art the Lord, and that hast turned their heart back again.
Duet 33:25-27; thy shoes shall be iron and brass and as thy days so shall thy strength be. There is none like unto the God of Jeshurum, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his Excellency onthe sky. The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee and shall say destroy them.
Ps 118:10-12: all nations compassed me about: but in the name of teh Lord will destroy them. They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about; but in the name of the Lord I will destroy them. They compassed me about like bees they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.
Jer. 1:19: and they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee.
Nahum 1:7-8 the Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble and he knoweth them that trust in him. But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.

GOD IS NEAR
There is an amusing story in 1 Kings 18. Elijah has challenged the prophets of Baal to call upon their god and he would call upon the Lord and they would see who answers. As the prophets of Baal call, they become more desperate, even cutting themselves to get Baal's attention.
Elijah taunts them, telling them to yell louder because maybe their god is asleep or away. When Elijah called upon the Lord, God answered immediately by bringing down fire from heaven that not only consumed the sacrifice but the stones of the altar as well.
Sometimes it feels as if God is far away from us and that he doesn't hear our prayers. This is not the case however. God is always near us and always hears our prayers. We do not need to worry about whether God heard us or if He is away because God is always with us.
Idols made with human hands take on human weaknesses. They cannot hear everything and are not always near. But the God who created us is greater than anything that we make in our own image. God is always near and will always hear and answer our prayers.
